Designing Central 設計中 features a series of creative events as part of the opening programme of the revitalized Central Market to be held from 21 September 2021 to 9 January 2022. The project is organized with a view to promoting Hong Kong's creative designs via Central Market which is not only one of Hong Kong's prominent historical landmarks but also an ideal venue situated at the heart of the business district of the city. 

The team has achieved a scale of 135 collaborating partners, 429 creative professionals, 12,687 direct participants, and 1,045,362 exhibition and market visitors in a nutshell.

To document and promote the Designing Central programme, the team created 5 issues of pamphlets, 1 exhibition booklet, and 1 event chronicle.

Social Media Content

To promote our events, we created our promotion material with PolyU Advertising Design students.
The team finally engaged 30+ micro KOLs with more than 20K likes on Instagram.

 

Short Videos

Designing Central programme is looking to attract the public with more interest in design.
We teamed up with PolyU Design students again, producing a series of videos, "What is design?".
The videos aim to let the audience understand design in a fun and relaxed way.
